LAHORE - Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on Health Kh Salman Rafiq laid the foundation stone of new block of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). Construction of the five storey block at Regional Center will be completed in six months. The new block will consist of workshop halls, skill lab and residences for examiners.Kh Salman Rafiq on the occasion appreciated the services of CPSP and stressed the need of better liaison between the institution and the government for ensuring provision of state of the art health facilities. He stressed upon the doctors to use latest technology and research to improve service delivery at hospitals. President CPSP Prof Zafar Ullah Chaudhry said that CPSP was striving hard to produce quality doctors. He expressed hope that the standard of medical research and education would improve with the launch of essential credit points system. He said all facilities including information technology would be provided at all regional centers. DGIR CPSP Prof Khalid Masood Gondal said that recognition of CPSP degree in Saudi Arabia was due to untiring efforts of fellows and supervisors.
