CPSP gets a new block

LAHORE - Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on Health Kh Salman Rafiq laid the foundation stone of new block of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP).
Construction of the five storey block at Regional Center will be completed in six months. The new block will consist of workshop halls, skill lab and residences for examiners.
Kh Salman Rafiq on the occasion appreciated the services of CPSP and stressed the need of better liaison between the institution and the government for ensuring provision of state of the art health facilities. He stressed upon the doctors to use latest technology and research to improve service delivery at hospitals.
President CPSP Prof Zafar Ullah Chaudhry said that CPSP was striving hard to produce quality doctors. He expressed hope that the standard of medical research and education would improve with the launch of essential credit points system. He said all facilities including information technology would be provided at all regional centers.
DGIR CPSP Prof Khalid Masood Gondal said that recognition of CPSP degree in Saudi Arabia was due to untiring efforts of fellows and supervisors. 
Ex-President CPSP Prof Ijaz Ahsan, Prof Khawaja Sajid Hussain, Maj Gen (Retd) Muzaffar Hussain Andrabi, heads of medical institutions, Prof Mahmood Shaukat, Prof Hamid Mahmood Butt, Prof Abdul Majeed Chaudhry, Prof A S Chughtai, Prof Humayun Maqsood, Maj Gen Salman Ali, Office bearers of CPSP and council members, Prof Aamer Zaman Khan, Prof Mahmood Ayyaz, Dr Abrar Ashraf Ali, Prof Syed Asghar Naqi, fellows and examiners of CPSP were also present.
