Lahore - In a slip of tongue yesterday, Punjab government’s spokesperson Zaeem Qadri said that (Prime Minister) Nawaz Sharif will be disqualified within three months from the National Assembly.

“Insha’Allah (God willing) Nawaz Sharif will be disqualified within 90 days,” Qadri answered a question on the reference against PTI chief Imran Khan’s disqualification.

According to a private TV channel, Qadri clarified that he meant by Imran Khan, not PM Nawaz after he got to knowing his slip of tongue. He was talking to the media on the issue of Panama leaks that exposed the Sharif family’s assets abroad.

Backed by other opposition parties, the PTI is campaigning to bring to book Nawaz Sharif and other people from ruling party over the issue. The spokesman said: “So-called political predictor Sheikh Rasheed’s politics would also be ended soon. Personal attacks in politics would be problematic, whereas Imran Khan would saw the end of his politics soon.”
