PTI protests against loadshedding, price-hike

LAHORE Pakistan Tehrike Insaaf held a protest rally against laodshedding, price-hike and other problems at Samnabad here Thursday. The protesters led by Rana Akhtar Hussain and Yasir Ayub, chanted slogans against the rulers for their ill directed policies which they said, have led the nation to darkness and hard living. Many protestors on the occasion also set afire electricity bills. The said leaders of the PTI asked the people to come to the street against the oppressions which they said, rulers have unleashed on the masses. The also vowed to continue efforts to steer the poor out of the present miserable conditions and also to get rid of the President Asif Zardari, whom they termed the main reason of bad plight of the poor. Meanwhile, City President of the Tehrik has stated that the constitutional amendments would not work to the public benefit if the rulers did not come out of their own interest game. Addressing the party workers at his office Thursday Mian Mahmoodur Rashid said that both PPP and PML-N are after protecting their respective government showing no regard to the masses problems. He said the masses today are exposed to abject poverty, bomb blasts and the financial worries but the rulers have no time to deliver them out of their problems. He said in the next local bodies elections the masses would see for themselves the real faces of the rulers and reject them on their poor performance. He said his party would continue protest against the problems.
