Shahbaz pledges to punish plunderers

LAHORE – Former chief minister Shahbaz Sharif has said after coming into power, the PML-N government would hold corrupt and dishonest politicians accountable and retrieve the looted money. Speaking to his party ticket aspirants on Monday, Shahbaz slammed the critics of Metro Bus Service, Daanish School and Laptop Scheme. “Why don’t these people utter a single word against those who got their loans waive off written off, embezzled the Bank of Punjab’s money and did corruption in the Pakistan Steel Mills,” the former chief minister said.
For the past five years, he added, corrupt rulers from the PPP looted national exchequer while the PML-N government transparently spent public money on development schemes.
