LAHORE - Secretary General Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch has termed the lawyers attacks on mediamen as a conspiracy and has urged the lawyers elected bodies and their genuine leadership to intervene and frustrate the designs of the elements at its back. Talking to different delegations at Mansoora on Saturday, he said that both the lawyers and the media rendered great sacrifices for the independence of the judiciary and the sudden attacks of a handful of lawyers on the journalists were not acceptable. He said that the JI would resist all conspiracies against the independence of the judiciary and the media.
