LAHORE An exhibition of calligraphic works by eminent calligraphers of the country was kicked off at Alhamra Art Gallery here on Monday. The exhibition was organized by Punjab Arts Council (PAC) wherein 80 prominent calligraphers of the country including Abdul Wahid Nadirul Qalam, Aslam Kamal, Irfan Ahmed Khan, Munawarul Islam Ibne Nadirul Qalam, Arif Khan, Rehan Munawar, Munawar Mohyuddin, Amjad Butt, Mehboob Ali, Zakr Hussain, M Arshad, Chitra Pritam, Machu Salahuddin Khan, Abdul Aziz Osman Algazi, Shafique Farooqi Muhammad Sharif Sabri and others participated. Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani, Secretary Information, Culture and Youth Affairs Punjab inaugurated the exhibition. A large number of calligraphers and art lovers visited the exhibition. The exhibition will remain open till August 13.
