LAHORE - PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday visited Mayo Hospital and enquired after the health of prominent artists Jamil Fakhri and directed Medical Superintendent Mayo Hospital Dr Zahif Pervaiz to spare no effort in the treatment of Jamil Fakhri. He also presented a bouquet to the ailing artist. Sons of Jamil Fakhri and his long standing friend, Irfan Khosat was also present on the occasion. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif assured that Punjab government was providing maximum cooperation in the treatment of Jamil Fakhri as he was a national asset. Later, talking to media Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that every effort would be made for saving the life of Jamil Fakhri and it was also responsibility of the society to come forward to console the family of the ailing artist in their hour of need. Responding to a question, Hamza said Punjab government would continue to extend every help to the artist in this hour of need. He said that a comprehensive strategy would be evolved with the help of media and representatives of artists for their assistance. He said the cases against the leadership of PML-N were thoroughly scrutinized during Musharraf era but no corruption could be found.
