LAHORE – The Samanabad Police Station SHO refused on Saturday to lodge FIR of a motorbike theft and harassed the victim asking him to avoid visiting the police station.
The motorbike (Ravi-125, LEZ-5553) was stolen from inside the warehouse of electronics near Rasool Park on Friday evening. Shortly after the incident, warehouse employee Faisal Iliyas visited the PS Samanabad, where an ASI asked him to visit on Saturday morning. However, on Saturday SHO asked him to exclude different ‘unfruitful’ things from his application submitted for registration of the FIR.
