Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Friday said that it was inevitable to rid the people from President Asif Ali Zardari’s team to save the country. Talking to a delegation of MPAs here, he said that the corrupt rulers had increased troubles of the masses by increasing loadshedding, unemployment, inflation and poverty in the country. He said that the corrupt and incompetent group of President Asif Ali Zardari had exposed and the people to numerous troubles, adding that the people would make accountable the Zardari group in the next general elections. “Nepotism and corruption has brought the country to verge of destruction,” the CM said. Shahbaz said that failure of the incumbent government could not be termed the failure of democratic system in Pakistan, adding that politics and democracy were defamed through so-called reconciliation policy of the PPP-led government. He said that in modern era the people were pushed towards darkness, adding that Ali Baba and forty thieves were busy in conducting corruption in the country. He said the people were deprived from their fundamental rights due to which progress of the country was halted.
