LAHORE: Lahore police registered another criminal case against Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Tahirul Qadri and hundreds of his supporters for sabotaging pubic property, attacking policemen, and creating lawlessness like situation in Lahore’s Faisal Town neighbourhood.
Police sources revealed that the section 7ATA of the anti-terrorism act was also included in the First Information Report (FIR) registered with the Faisal Town police on the complaint of a police official.
On Friday, several policemen were wounded as PAT workers clashed with the anti-riot police to clear the barriers placed in the locality to stop the free movement of protesters.–Staff Reporter
