LAHORE  - PML-Q President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain while rejecting reports of his family’s loan default of the Bank of Punjab said that he was consulting his lawyers to prepare a case of defamation.
In a press statement issued on Tuesday, he said that Chaudhry family had never taken a loan from the Bank of Punjab and news reports in this regard were completely false.
He said: “No member of his family or any of their business enterprises had taken any loan from the Bank of Punjab.”
He added that Colony Group did not belong to Chaudhrys as claimed in a news report.
Shujaat said that he was consulting his lawyers to file charges of defamation against such baseless allegations.
The PML-Q chief said that neither he nor any of his family members has an account in the Bank of Punjab.
