LAHORE  - Excise and Taxation authorities on Monday arrested three accused and recovered 1.5kg heroin from their possession on Monday.
Accused Tanvir, Haroon and George were arrested by Inspector Waqas and Sharoon and cases were registered with Nawan Kot, Factory area and Data Darbar police stations.
The excise staff also arrested one Jahangir who was involved in selling of heroin later he was identified as police constable. The CCPO has terminated his services from police department.
Excise staff also arrested a man and recovered three Kg charas, one and half Kg heroin from him in Shahdara police station limits. Accused are Waqas Ali, Mohammad Azam, Humaira Riaz, Shahid Latif and Ghulam Nabi.
