Main objective of the drive is to target visitor coming in and going out from city’s major Bus Stations like Railway Station, Lorry Ada and City District Government’s Bus Stations located at Chowk Yateem Khana, Thokar Niaz Baig, Batti Chowk Interchange and Shahdra.

“The objective of carrying out “Welcome to Lahore Campaign” on these points of exit and entrance is to remind entrants that LWMC needs their responsible participation to keep their own streets, colonies and markets neat and clean by just doing one thing and that is usage of waste bins” said Jamil Khawar, Head of LWMC Communication Department.

“Although it’s very hectic to stay here at CDGL Bus Station Yateem Khana, yet LWMC has setup camps, deployed machinery, distributed pamphlets and waste bags just to ask for our role to keep our own belongings clean and healthy” said Muhammad Ahmad Awan, Principal Government Commerce College Sabza Zar. “I along with my students are very much excited and committed to say yes to this public welfare campaign of waste company and would like to appeal to other citizens to at least listen to their message”, Mr. Awan added.
