More wardens deployed on City roads

LAHORE - An additional force of traffic wardens has been deployed at main arteries of the city to make smooth flow of traffic in the Holy month of Ramazan. According to a press release, the Chief Traffic Officer Lahore Hussain Habib Imtiaz said that as many as 342 wardens and 15 senior wardens have been deployed to discharge their duties during Iftar timings. The Sector Incharges and the DSPs have been directed to supervise the traffic arrangements through visits in their respective areas. The additional force of wardens will especially focus the areas affected with extraordinary traffic rush including Lakshami Chowk, Regal Chowk, Qurtaba Chowk, High Court Chowk, Mozang, Ferozepur Road underpass, Kalma Chowk, Bhatta Chowk, and other important roads of the city. The wardens were also directed to keep a vigil eye on the suspected people also.
