VC retires

LAHORE - Vice Chancellor King Edward Medical University has retired from government service at the age of 60 years. According to a press release issued by the university here on Thursday, he had taken charge as Vice Chancellor of KEMU on May 3, 2008. In his farewell address to faculty he advised doctors to serve humanity and medical profession with missionary zeal. and try to provide best possible medical facilities to poor patients. He also advised faculty and staff to work hard to lift university standards according to international level. Later, the faculty and staff presented him a shield on his 37 years meritorious services in the medical profession.
