LAHORE – A 30-year-old man committed suicide by swallowing poisonous pills in the Johar Town area, police said on Wednesday.
The family told the police that Muhammad Akbar consumed poisonous pills after he exchanged harsh words with his brothers over some domestic dispute. The resident of Johar Town, Akbar, went to his bedroom, locked it from inside, and consumed poisonous pills. Later, he was rushed to a hospital, where doctors pronounced him as brought dead. The police handed over the body to the family after fulfilling legal formalities.
