Non-teaching staff training begins at PU

LAHORE - The training of non-teaching staff of Punjab University and affiliated colleges being jointly organized by Higher Education Commission and Punjab University has begun at PU Institute of Applied Psychology here on Monday.
On this occasion Dean Faculty of Engineering Technology Prof Dr Taqi Zahid Butt, PU Director Planning and Development and focal person of the program Engr Tariq Majeed Qureshi, Director Centre for Clinical Psychology Prof Dr Rukhsana Kausar and IAP’s Assistant Prof and coordinator Shazia Khalid were present. Different training sessions of ten batches will be organized and there would be 35 participants in each batch, 25 from Punjab University and 10 from affiliated colleges.
Seminar: In connection with Independence Day Celebrations the University of the Punjab’s Pakistan Study Centre (PSC) will organize a special lecture on Tuesday (today) at 10am at its Auditorium.
On this occasion North Carolina State University, United States’ Prof Dr David Gilmartin will throw light on the topic while PU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran will preside over the ceremony.
