LAHORE - Lahore Development Authority on Monday declared six private housing schemes as illegal and informed citizens that operators of these schemes had illegally developed societies in LDA’s controlled area.
The general public, prospective buyers and the investors have been cautioned that as many as six private housing schemes, situated in the LDA’s controlled area were illegal as no formal approval for them had been obtained from LDA.
The six  illegal schemes include Lalazar Garden- 80 feet Peco Road, Marghazar Colony, Munir Garden- Niaz Baig Road, Fateh Villas- near Pak Arab Housing Scheme, Chandrai Road, Grand Avenue Housing Scheme- 28 Km Ferozpur Road, Vital Homes adjacent to Pak Arab Housing Scheme and Green Park Housing Scheme- near Hadiara drain, Ferozpur Road.
People have been advised, in their own interest, to refrain from purchasing plots in these schemes and verify the legal status of these schemes from LDA before making any investment or transaction. LDA shall not be responsible in any case of loss in this regard.
LDA have also warned the owners or developers of these illegal housing schemes to stop sale of plots, execution of development works and other issues relating to the sale of plots in these schemes, otherwise LDA will take strict legal action against them.
Promoted: Mian Muhammad Ijaz, Director Engineering (BS-19), LDA, on the orders of Lahore Development Authority Director General Ahad Khan Cheema, has been granted extension in current charge for period of one year w.e.f. 09.12.2012.
Syed Shaheen Mehmoob Deputy Director Procurement, LDA has been transferred and posted as Deputy Director Hidden Properties, LDA. Rehan Athar, Assistant Director (General Cadre) presently awaiting posting in Administration Directorate has been posted as Deputy Director Procurement, LDA in his own pay and scale Vice Syed Shaheen, Mehboob.
Muhamamd Iftikhar, Assistant Director (Town Planning), LDA, has been reinstated into service and posted as Deputy Director (MP), in his own pay and scale, in Chief Metropolitan Planning Wing, LDA with immediate effect. However these orders will not affect the inquiry proceedings against him.
Meanwhile LDA DG Ahad Khan Cheema has granted 120 days Ex-Pakistan leave to Muhammad Shafique Ahmad, Deputy Director Law, Directorate of Estate Management (Avenue-I), LDA w.e.f. 10.12.2012 to 08.04.2013. Muhammad Rasheed, Deputy Director Law will hold additional charge of Deputy Director Law, Directorate of Estate Management (Avenue-I), LDA during the leave period of Muhammad Shafique Ahmad.
Consequent upon recommendations of the LDA’s Departmental Promotion Committee, Muhammad Sharif S/o Allah Rakha, Staff Officer (BS-16) has been granted proforma promotion as Staff Officer (BS-16) w.e.f. 30.07.2011. Malik Nazar Muhammad S/o Mehar Muhammad, Assistant (BS-14) has been promoted to the rank of Staff Officer (BS-16) on regular basis with immediate effect and also granted proforma promotion as Staff Officer (BS-16) w.e.f. 30.07.2011. Amjad Ali S/o Muhammad Ismail, Staff Officer (BS-16) w.e.f. 30.07.2011, and Majid Hussain S/o Munir Bukhsh, Staff officer (BS-16) has been granted proforma promotion as Staff Officer (BS-16) w.e.f. 30.07.2011.
