LAHORE - Pakistan National Forum (PNF) has taken notice of the statement of US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton in the CBS interview and condemned the Times Square incident in the strongest terms. The PNF has recognized that such acts of terrorism are beyond the control of any government, including the US. So, there is a need that whole the world works for addressing the threat of terrorism at national and international levels. In a statement on Monday the Forum said that Pakistans Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, made an unguarded statement when he said that the Times Square incident could be a reaction to the US drone attacks in Pakistans tribal areas. Hopefully, this statement does not reflect the official perspective of the Government of Pakistan. It was said that the PNF was of the view that the act of an individual could not be attributed to the nation as a whole.
