The Opposition in the Punjab Assembly has moved a privilege motion against the parliamentary leader of the Unification Block Tahir Ali Javed. The motion moved by 108 parliamentarians of the Pakistan Peoples Party and 29 members of the PML (Q) calls for debate on Tahir's statement. The motion says that Tahir's statement has harmed the sanctity of the Assembly. On this occasion the Deputy Parliamentary Leader of the PP Shaukat Basra called CM Punjab more dangerous than Dengue adding that the conspiracy for the advocated dissolution of the Assembly was hatched in Raiwind. He asked the Chief justice to take the suo moto action for registering a sedition case against Dr. Tahir Javed.
