LAHORE – All Pakistan Newspapers Society Senior Vice President and Daily Ausaf Chief Editor Mahtab Khan on Wednesday felicitated TheNation Editor-in-Chief and Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Chairman Majid Nizami for getting an honorary PhD degree in recognition of his services in the field of journalism.
Mahtab said in a message that Majid Nizami’s contribution to the nation was undeniable. “On receiving the doctorate degree for his meritorious services, the veteran journalist has added to the value of the degree,” he viewed.
Pir Syed Ghulam Moeenul Haq Gilani of Golra Sharif also felicitated Editor-in-Chief and Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Chairman Majid Nizami on his achievement and said that it was an honour for the Punjab University to confer the PhD degree on a man who had served the nation for more than seven decades.
