Lahore : PML-Q chief, Ch Shujaat Hussain has demanded of the superior judiciary to take suo moto of the tragic incident of Model Town following its traditions of taking notice of the major events in the highest public interest.
In a Press statement issued on Friday, he said that the real culprits of the Model Town incident should be brought to justice instead of rolling the heads of some small officers who were just carrying orders of the top members of the ruling elite.
He said that provincial chief executive should express moral courage and take responsibility of this tragic event in which innocent people had been killed by direct police fire.  Shujaat said that the judiciary would also have to share the blame of this tragic incident if it failed to bring to book the real culprits.
He said that Almighty Allah would never forgive the persons which shed the blood of the innocent people.
