The Punjab Minister for Local Government and Community Development Rana Ullah has reiterated that the government would hold local body elections within six months in Punjab.
Speaking to a private TV channel on Monday, the minister said that the government will revive the system of councilors, municipal committees and district councils by holding local government elections in the province.
He said that funds would be allocated in provincial budget for holding of local body elections.
