Another plea filed against PM

LAHORE - Barrister Syed Javed Iqbal Jafree has filed a writ petition in the Lahore High Court praying that money laundering case against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif be heard afresh.
The petitioner-lawyer submits that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has shifted a billion of rupees in abroad from the National Exchequer. He states that a five-member bench headed by Justice Farrukh Irfan Khan heard the same case a one month back.
Jafree says the bench should have written the decision first in the light of criminal law, law of evidence and others laws and should have announced the decision in an open court but they did not do so. The petitioner submits that the written order has also not been issued yet. He prays to the court to hear the case afresh and the five-member bench headed by Justice Farrukh Irfan Khan be separated from its hearing.
Syed Javed Iqbal Jafree had filed his main petition back in 1991 against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and alleged that he shifted billions of rupees in abroad.
He prayed the court to declare PM Nawaz Sharif as disqualified from contesting election and the money sent abroad be brought back for the development and progress of the country.
