Journalist dies

LAHORE Renowned senior journalist Asghar Butt breathed his last here on Tuesday at the age of 68 years after brief illness since about a week back he developed breathing problem. Asghar Butt started his career with the PPI, worked with the Pakistan Times till it was privatised. He was working with a daily English newspaper since 2002. He has left two sons, a daughter and a widow, besides large number colleagues to mourn his death. His Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered at 9 am on Wednesday (today) at a local mosque, near his residence 122-Satluj Block, Allama Iqbal Town, Lahore.
