OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - Insaf Student Federation (ISF) Friday staged a protest against the Election Commission for not extending the voters registration date. The protesters, at Liberty Chowk, were holding placards and banners with slogans against the government and EC. While addressing the gathering Saqib Riaz Sindhu and Waqar Malik Ahmed said this government had not done any good in its tenure and that is why they would not allow the EC to do anything too. They further stated the youth was being deprived of their basic rights to cast votes in the coming elections. We demand of the Federal Government to extend the date for voter registration so that no one would be deprived of casting a vote, otherwise we would go a step forward and hold protests on a larger scale, they added.
