LAHORE - A man succumbed to his injuries in a local hospital on Sunday, six days after he was shot and wounded by some unidentified persons in Garhi Shahu area. The deceased was identified as Chaudhry Nazeer, resident of Main Bazar, Garhi Shahu. Police said that Nazeer was shot and wounded by some unidentified persons on December 7. He had suffered multiple bullet wounds and was shifted to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday. The deceaseds son Muhammad Ali suspected that his brother-in-law Sharif might have been involved in the murder of his father as his wife had left his house over some domestic issues. Police shifted the body to morgue for autopsy.
