LAHORE - Pakistan and Indian junior hockey teams have qualified for the final match of the Four-Nation Invitational Junior Hockey Tournament at Johor Bahru, Malaysia on Thursday. According to the information received from Malaysia, Pakistan beat hosts Malaysia by 3-1 in the second league match. At the end of the first half the score was 1-0 in favor of Pakistan. Muhammad Taufeeq scored a goal in 28th minute on penalty-corner, Muhammad Ateeq and Bilal Mohsin scored one goal each in 42nd and 53rd minutes respectively. Saari Faizal scored the only goal scored from Malaysia in 48th minute on penalty corner. Earlier, India beat Singapore by 12 goals to nil and qualified for the final. Pakistan will face India on Friday in the last league match, while the final match will be played on March 15.
