LAHORE - The PPP’s central Punjab President, Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo on Wednesday said that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto would be in Lahore for at least three days on the occasion of party’s Foundation Day celebrations starting from November 30th.
Talking to media after chairing a party meeting, Wattoo said that PPP Punjab would be hosting the Foundation Day event and delegations from all over the country would participate.
He informed reporters said that the convention may take place outside the Bilawal House, Lahore, in view of the anticipated heavy attendance.
Wattoo further said that he had very useful meeting with the District Information Secretaries of the PPP Punjab as their role was crucial in disseminating the party message at the grassroots level.
He said that now the news stories released from Lahore regarding party activities would be instantaneously sent to the District Information Secretaries for publication in the local newspapers.
While responding to a question, Manzoor Wattoo said that Jehangir Badar was a sincere and dedicated leader and party would like to benefit from his experience.
He further stated Jehangir Badar had been appointed as the Chief Co-coordinator and was extending full co-operation as a facilitator in organising the Foundation Day of the party.
