JuD chief discusses damage with Kashmiri leaders

Ameer Jamaatud Dawa Professor Hafiz Saeed made a telephone call to Chairman of Hurriyat Conference Occupied Kashmir Syed Ali Geelani and Chief of Jammu Kashmir Freedom Party Shabir Ahmed Shah on Friday to discuss the damage caused by floods in Occupied Kashmir and Pakistan. Syed Ali Geelani told Hafiz Saeed that at this time, tens of thousands of Kashmiris are trapped on their rooftops due to floods waiting to be rescued. He said that the Indian Army is only busy is recuing their own tourists and soldiers while it has left the ordinary Kashmiris to die. He said when he contacted Red Cross and United Nations and informed them of the situation which would also result in the spread of dangerous disease, he was told by them that they had been stopped by India from rescuing people in the Occupied Kashmir.
He said houses in Srinagar have completely been submerged in the flood water and the people could be seen waiting for help on the rooftops. Ameer JuD Hafiz Saeed assured the Kashmiri leader of his help and said that he hearts of the Pakistanis beat in unison with Kashmiris.
In his telephonic conversation, Chief of the Jammu Kashmir Freedom Party Shabir Ahmed Shah briefed the JuD leader of the disastrous situation and told him that as of now tens of thousands of Kashmiris are stranded in flood water. He said it was becoming increasingly difficult to take clean water and other items to the affected people. He said that the situation has worsened because of Indian army’s refusal to help the ordinary Kashmiris.
