LAHORE - Banned for using drugs pacer Mohammed Asif has called upon his medical expert Dr Michael Graham from England, to further and go fr an appeal against his one year ban imposed by the Indian Premier League Drugs tribunal. He will be discussing the issue with his lawyers in the presence of his doctor and his sports management company Portfolio World would assist him. Asif said: "Strangely the order sent by IPL was only signed by one of the jury members, whereas the other two jury members have not signed and one of the jury members was Sunil Gavaskar. "Dr Graham is on a short trip to Lahore and then will be going to Mumbai, with this matter," Asif said in an e-mailed statement. Asif was suspended by the PCB on July 15 last year and the IPL tribunal has his year ban till September 22, commencing from September2008. "It is about time that the PCB stand by me and look into this matter," he added.
