LAHORE: FIA Thursday claimed to have arrested two wanted human traffickers from Gujranwala.
An officer of FIA said that accused Shafqat Mehmood and Zeshan Shah were at large since long and were also looting the innocent citizens.
Meanwhile, FIA immigration authorities deputed at Allama Iqbal International Airport claimed that they arrested two passengers trying to board the plane on fake travel documents.
Two passengers Mazhar Waseem and Sajjad Ahmad were intercepted by immigration officials as they were traveling on fax visit visa by AirBlue flight ED-410.
Fake employment visa stickers of Libya and medical reports were also recovered from them.
During preliminary interrogation, the passengers told the immigration officers that they had paid Rs 6 lacs for these fake visa stickers.
They revealed the names of travel agents as Naeem, Ashraf and Zulfiqar resident of Gujrat and Kamoki.  A case has been registered against the accused and raids are being conducted to arrest the agents.–Staff Reporter
