LAHORE - Police have launched investigations to track down the motorcyclists, who shot dead a 24-year-old man on offering resistance during an armed robbery attempt in the Iqbal Town police area late Sunday night. Muhammad Farhan was going to a nearby market when four gunmen riding on two motorcycles stopped him in the Nizam Block of Iqbal Town. The motorcyclists held up the youth at gunpoint and demanded cash and mobile phone. As the man tried to put up resistance, the bandits opened straight fire at him from a point-blank range and fled away their two-wheelers. The youth died on the spot. The police have registered a murder case against unidentified killers and are investigating with no arrest made yet. SHOT DEAD: A 20-year-old youth was shot dead by unidentified motorcyclists in the Punjab Housing Society late Monday, police said. The police have removed the body to the morgue for autopsy.
