Three killed in separate incidents


LAHORE – Three people including a seven-year-old child died owing to different reasons at separate places of the City on Wednesday.
As per reports, the minor Esha, daughter of Lateef, sustained multiple burn injuries when a hotpot containing boiling milk fell upon her in Ghaziabad police area. She was taken to the Burn Unit of the Mayo Hospital where she breathed her last.
Meanwhile, some unidentified accused men shot dead a 34-year-old man, yet to be identified, in Factory Area. Police found his sack-packed body from Walton Road and made numerous announcements in nearby mosques but none of the citizens claimed to own the body, which was removed to the City morgue for autopsy. A duty officer said the circumstantial evidences show the deceased was strangled to death by the culprits under mysterious circumstances but his body was thrown in Factory Area to dodge the police.
Similarly, a 22-year-old youth Muhammad Azeem was killed by some culprits including Khalid and Nomi over revengeful act in Islampura police area. As per police reports, Azeem’s elder brother Muhammad Kaleem of Sant Nagar had allegedly developed illicit relations to his relative Guddu’s wife in abroad. On which, Guddu’s relatives on Wednesday gunned down Azeem and fled the crime scene. Police have lodged a case against the culprits. Further investigation is underway.
