India wishes to disintegrate Pak: Nizami

LAHORE - Editor-in-Chief TheNation and Chairman Nazria Pakistan Trust Majid Nizami has said the officers should serve the masses despite considering themselves as masters. Addressing the under-training officers of Pakistan Civil Service at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan here on Saturday, he said: You should trust on Two-Nation theory and also believed that India wants to disintegrate Pakistan. The officers delegation visited Aiwan led by Brig (r) Muhammad Irfan and Col (r) Hamid Ghani while Vice-chairman NPT Prof Dr Rafique Ahmad also addressed on the occasion. Majid Nizmai said that Punjab Chief Minister also considered himself 'Khadim-e-Aala. I wish may Allah keep him busy in serving the people with the same spirit, he added. He told the officers that former Punjab chief minister late Ghulam Hyder Wyne was a common man and he (Wyne) had built this Aiwan for ideological training of the masses. He said that India had never accepted the division of Sub-continent and now America and Israel were also conspiring against Pakistan. But I believe that in the presence of honest officers, who have belief in national ideology, no one can harm the country, he added. As a nation, we should ready to face any challenge from India. Pakistan was created with the power of vote but unfortunately, after some time a self-made dictator Ayub Khan occupied it. Ayub was succeeded with other dictators but now I pray to Almighty that no dictator can occupy the country. I had asked Nawaz Sharif to refuse to resign before Army Chief, when the former prime minister was pushed by General Waheed Kakar for tender resignation. To a question, Majid Nizami said that Shaikh Mujeeb was stubborn to create Bangladesh. Dr Rafique Ahmad delivered a lecture on multimedia and informed the delegation about the activities of NPT.
