LAHOR: A man was killed when his motorcycle bumped into a donkey-cart in the Chuhng police area on Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses told the police that the motorcyclist, unidentified so far, lost his control over the bike because of high-speed and it smashed into the donkey-cart. The man sustained serious injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced as brought dead.
Suicide
A 48-year-old man ended his life by jumping in front of a train in the Shahdara Town area on Wednesday, police said.  A shopkeeper told the police that the man, yet to be identified, jumped in front of a speedy train and died instantly. Police investigators said that the deceased, clad in white Shalwar and Kamis, waited for the train for some time and threw himself in front of the train as it arrived near railway crossing gate.
