LAHORE - Speakers at a sitting lauded the services of Mayo Hospital Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department Head of Dr Khalid Jameel for the cause of special people.
According to a press release, the event was organised by the Pakistan Society for Special People. Dozens of medical students and people from all walks of attended the ceremony.
They said Dr Khalid Jameel devoted his life to the cause for betterment of the disabled.  They hoped after getting Sitara-i-Imtiaz Award, he would be able to perform with more zeal.
“Presently, disabled persons were being considered with sympathy, honour and grace in our society just because of the hectic efforts of Dr Khalid Jameel who has given them identity.”
