LAHORE - Jamaat-e-Islami’s central Planning Committee met here at Mansoora on Sunday to review the implementation of the JI central action plan.
JI Deputy Chief Rashid Naseem presided over the meeting which was attended by the General Secretaries of the JI from all the four provinces.
Suggestions to further improve the party’s working alongwith recommendations also came under discussion.
The final report of the committee will be presented at the central Shoora of the JI being held on September 16th.
Those attending the meeting included Khalid Rahman, Shabbir Ahmed Khan, Bashir Ahmed Mandayee, Behrullah Advocate, Azhar Iqbal Hussain, Nazir Ahmed Janjua, Hafiz Naeemur Rahman, Zubair Ahmed Gondal, Muhammad Asghar, Mumtaz Husain Sehtu, Khaliq Ahmed Butt and Muhammad Abdul Wahab.
Ameer, Jamaat e Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq, has also convened a meeting of the central Shoora of the JI at Mansoora on September 16th.
The Shoora will discuss the political situation in the country and decide the future line of action of the party.
Meanwhile, Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami, Pakistan, Sirajul Haq and JI Secretary General Liaquat Baloch, have expressed deep grief over the boat tragedy near Multan resulting in the drowning of over a dozen people including a bridegroom.
They prayed for the departed souls and expressed full sympathy with the bereaved families.
