LAHORE – A man forced his entry into the emergency ward of Mayo Hospital late on Wednesday night and threw acid on female nurses who were on-duty there.
As a result, eight people including three nurses sustained serious burn injuries. A number of attendants of the patients immediately intervened and managed to capture the attacker, later identified as Irfan.
It was not clear yet why the man launched acid attack in the emergency ward of the hospital and targeted the on-duty nurses.
