Lahore grabbed 2-0 win with a score of 25-23, 25-21. while Bahawalpur beat Faisalabad 2-0 (25-20, 25-19) and Gujranwala beat Rawalpindi 2-0 (25-21, 25-17). In boys volleyball, Lahore beat Dera Ghazi Khan 2-1 (25-15, 24-26, 25-13) at the Govt College Gulberg courts, Gujranwala beat Multan 2-0 (25-20, 25-10), Rawalpindi beat Sargodha 2-0 (25-9, 25-19). In football Saihwal beat Fsaialabad 1-0 and that lone goal of the match came from Mohammad Shoaib. Lahore beat Gujranwala by six goals with Muzammal and Zahid Iqbal scored one goal each and Wajid Ali and Ayaz Ahmed converted two each. Ayaz Ahmed scored the only goal of the third match for DG Khan against Rawalpindi to get a 1-0 win. In girls badminton, Lahore beat Bahawalpur 2-0. Fariha Imtiaz of Lahore beat Humera of Bahawalpur 21-13, 21-4. In doubles Mamona and Fariha beat Bahawalpurs Sofia and Humera 21-14, 21-12. Rawalpindi beat DG Khan 2-0. In athletics events at Punjab Stadium, Sakahawat of Sahiwal clocked 22.8 seconds to win the 200 metres race while Tanveer Abbas of Sargodha and Mohammad Ijaz of Faisalabad were second and third respectively. In shot putt, Jahan Dad Khan of Sahiwal throw measured 14.28 metres for the first place while Zain Ullah Khan of Sargodha and Asif Khan of Faisalabad were second and third in the event respectively.
