LAHORE - Eminent journalist and intellectual, Mujib-ur-Rehman Shami has said that Pakistan Movement will continue till the achievements of Pakistan Movements objectives. He was addressing the children of Nazriati Summer School at Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan on its 22nd day on the topic respect for parents and teachers on Thursday. Chairman NPT and Editor-in-Chief The Nation Majid Nizami and office-bearers of NPT were also present on the occasion. Mujib-ur-Rehman Shami said that the Quaid created Pakistan on the basis of truth and justice. Majid Nizami is pursuing values of truth and it was for this reason that his worst enemies praise his (Nizamis) truth. Shami said Nawa-i-Waqt Group is an institution and he learnt from this institution by writing column in Nawa-i-Waqt and gained popularity. He said a group wanted to make Pakistan a secular state and the other as envisioned by the Quaid and Allama Iqbal and that is objective of creation of Pakistan. He said we should not celebrate Father & Mother Day as celebrated in West where the people keep themselves away from the parents and meet on the Father & Mother Days. He said we respect our parents, teachers and father and mother in-laws. He said the children should concentrate on studies and shun cheating, fraud, falsehood and be good citizen. He narrated tales of Hazrat Abdul Qadir Jillani (RA) and Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) who not only spoke truth but obeyed their mothers. He said we have to create a society based on truth, justice where truth dominates our writings, speaking and our courts. Prof Rafique Ahmad briefly introduced the Nazriati Summer School. The children put searching questions on the guest speaker. The children were also shown documentary films. Later Majid Nizami, Mujib-ur-Rehman Shami and Dr Rafique Ahmad distributed prizes among the children. function for NSS students A special function for Nazriati Summer School students is being held at the Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehrik-e-Pakistan here on Friday (today). 'Phool Club of monthly Phool magazine, Nawa-i-Waqt Group is arranging this function which aims at enhancing educational, moral and ideological capabilities of the students. Nawa-i-Waqt Group Editor-in-Chief Majid Nizami will preside over the function while Moonlight School System Chairman Adeeb Javidani and Education Department (Public Instruction Cell) ex-Director Muhammad Jamil Najam will be the chief guests.
