LAHORE - Senior Advisor to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khosa has said that people are worried about the news regarding departure of Ch Pervaiz Elahi and Monis Elahi to London after the arrest of Punjab Bank fraud case main accused Hamesh Khan. According to a handout issued here on Saturday, Zulfiqar Khosa said the biggest ever dacoity in Bank of Punjab was committed when Ch Pervaiz Elahi was Punjab Chief Minister. He appointed Hamesh Khan as Chairman of the bank setting aside all rules and regulations. Khosa said it is the demand of justice when the main accuse of bank fraud case has been apprehended and brought back to Pakistan, the former Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi should not be allowed to go abroad. He said now it is the responsibility of Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik to enter the name of Ch Pervaiz Elahi on Exit Control List (ECL) so that he could not flee abroad until investigation from Hamesh Khan is completed and the looted money is deposited to the Bank of Punjab.
