Military rule not possible in the presence of Independent Judiciary: Saad Rafiq

Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) MNA, Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that in the presence of independent judiciary and well aware masses, no one could dare to impose military rule in the country. Talking to media persons here in Lahore on Wednesday, Saad Rafique said sitting government has failed to bring the country out of crises and removing masses miseries and PML-N would continue it struggle to end the rule of Zardari-Gilani setup. He said that Pakistan People's Party (PPP) led federal government was playing with the fate of country and its people and today country is standing at critical juncture of its history. Saad Rafique said "Go Zardari Go" movement was the need of the hour as the country was not in a position to afford corrupt political leadership anymore. He also held the past dictatorial regimes responsible for the ongoing crises confronting the country and said that military supremacy would not be accepted. "PML-N would resist against any drive to pull the military in power" To a question, Saad Rafique said that self directed policies of PPP were the biggest threat for democracy and needed to be reversed.
