LAHORE - Two maids at former skipper Wasim Akram’s parents home got away with cash and jewelry worth of millions, police said yesterday.

According to Police Wasim Akram's mother Irshad Kausar employed two maids named Fatima and Iman at her house in Garden Town area two days ago. They took away Rs82,000 and jewelry before drugging her. Wasim Akram's mother said that a driver who worked in the neighbourhood had referred the maids to her. The Garden Town Police have taken the cricketer’s driver into custody. A case was registered and further investigation was in process.
