PIA officials misbehave with PTI MNA

LAHORE - PTI MNA Rai Hassan Nawaz was misbehaved by the PIA officials at Allama Iqbal International Airport when he was travelling from Lahore to Islamabad a couple of days back, said sources in the airline on Wednesday. The MNA put the issue in the notice of Advisor to Prime Minister on Aviation, Shujaat Azeem who immediately ordered an inquiry into the matter.
Rai Hassan Nawaz, who was scheduled to go to Islamabad by PIA flight Pk-650, reached the briefing area of the airport and wanted the PIA staff to get him a boarding card. As the minister asked two PIA officials to get him the boarding card, they refused to do so and said they were not the officials concerned. At this, the MNA argued that if they were not the officials concerned, then they should step aside and leave the counter.
This reply of the MNA made the PIA officials, who belonged to the Air League of PIA employees, shout on him and threaten him of dire consequences.
An eye-witness PIA employee seeking anonymity said that both the officials used abusive language against the MNA.
PIA Managing Director Shah Nawaz Rehman also sought a detailed report regarding the issue.  When contacted, Rai Hassan Nawaz said it was a very light argument and he did not lodge any complaint in this regard.
