LAHORE - Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust (NPT) and Pakistan Movement Workers Trust on Friday jointly organised Quran Khwani for Pakistan Movement Workers who died in August including Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Khan Mamdot, Beghum Amina Ghani Ghuman, Muhammad Shafi Malik, Haji Asadullah, Brig (R) Muhammad Shafi Khan and Khwaja Habibullah at the Aiwan-e-Karkunan Tehreek-e-Pakistan.
Pakistan Movement Worker and TheNation Editor-in-Chief Dr Majid Nizami, Justice (r) Munir Ahmad Mughal, Iqbal Khan, Ch Riaz Ahmad, NPT officer bearers and a large number of people from different walks of life attended the sitting.
NPT Secretary Shahid Rasheed said Pakistan Movement workers gave countless sacrifices for the establishment of Pakistan. He said Mamdot family left its lands spanning on miles in India and migrated to Pakistan. He said all the late Haji Asadullah Khan had the honor to meet the Quaid-i-Azam and participated in the movement from the MSF platform.
He said that Beghum Amina Ghani Ghuman, Muhammad Shafi Malik, Brig (R) Muhammad Shafi Khan and Khwaja Habibullah were also among those who worked hard for the establishment of Pakistan. After the establishment of Pakistan, they worked for the settlement of those who migrated from India.
Meanwhile, the students of Government Muslim League High School Empress Road on Friday visited the Aiwan-e-Karkunan-e-Tehreek-e-Pakistan to attend the NPT’s Aaghi programme. They also saw Pakistan Movement Gallery on the occasion.  
Also, mobile ideological units led by their coordinators visited Tariq Model School Ghaziabad, CDG Boys High School Shalimar Town and New Gohar Foundation School Burh Atari respectively.
The institution heads presided over the ceremonies in the said institutions. In their lectures they lauded the NPT’s role in disseminating the Two-Nation Theory to the new generation.
Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust (NPT) and Pakistan Movement Workers Trust on Saturday (today) will jointly organise a special sitting of “Anti Dengue Day”. DG Health Punjab and US AID Technical Advisor Prof Dr Nisar Ahmad Cheema will deliver a lecture on the disease.
