LAHORE - PTI local leaders and workers from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa kept on reaching Islamabad till late Saturday night to join the showdown between Imran Khan and the ruling party. According to PTI leaders, many local party activists who could not join the Azadi March have been directed by the top party leadership to keep on marching towards the federal capital to join the face-off between the PTI and the government. They said the party supporters were still coming from North, Central and South Punjab as well as from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to take part in the Azadi March show. They added that members of ISF and PTI youth wing, the main support base of the party, kept on bringing more participants to Islamabad. The PTI leaders said families and women were also coming to Islamabad to make the show a gathering of hundreds of thousands of people as stated by Imran Khan while kick-starting the march from Lahore on August 14.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
