Shahbaz sends relief goods to Peshawar

LAHORE - On special direction of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, 12 trucks of relief items, including 4500 food hampers, have been dispatched for the people affected due to heavy rains in Peshawar.
The Chief Minister, while expressing deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of human lives and properties in Peshawar due to rains, said that Pakistan Muslim League-N government was standing with the affected brothers and sisters in hour of distress.
He said that every possible help would be extended to the rain-affected people and more relief items would be sent for them according to their need. He said that helping the affected Pakhtun brothers and sisters was a national and religious obligation.
