LAHORE – District Coordination Officer Noor ul Amin Mengal has said that district administration will provide all possible facilities to consumers in Ramazan Bazaars and City District Government would not compromise on quality and price of essential daily use commodities.
He expressed these views during a surprise visit to Wahdat Road Ramadan Bazaar. On this occasion, MPA Ejaz Ahmed, Staff Officer Tariq Zaman, TMO Saman abad Imtiaz Awan and other concerned officers of the CDGL were also present.
The DCO inspected the quality and price of essential items and showed satisfaction on arrangements made by the TMA. He said that provision of high quality products at low price to citizens is first priority of the CDGL and maximum relief will be provided to citizens during the holy month of Ramazan.
The DCO said that no negligence would be tolerated regarding provision and supply of essential items on control rates. He warned that he himself would visit all Ramazan bazaars to ensure the compliance of his orders. No hoarding and illegal storage of commodities would be tolerated, he added.
The DCO directed all TMOs to ensure special arrangements of cleanliness and parking in Ramazan bazaars.
