LAHORE - A meeting of PU Advanced Studies and Research Board (AS&RB) was held under the chairmanship of Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mujahid Kamran in his office committee room here Wednesday. The meeting solved the cases of PhD scholars sent for review in the board by PU departments, institutes, colleges and schools. In the meeting, 7 PhD synopsis, 3 reports on PhD theses and 6 panel of examiners for PhD thesis review were approved. Extension was also given in 8 cases while 9 miscellaneous cases were discussed as well. Prof Dr Javaid Ahmed, Prof Dr Shahida Hasnain, Prof Dr Qalb-i-Abid, Prof Dr Hafiz Mahmood Akhtar, Prof Dr Mahr Muhammad Saeed Akhtar, Prof Dr Muhammad Hafeez, Prof Dr Abdul Ghaffar, Prof Dr Nasir Ahmad, Prof Dr Muhammad Naeem Khan and Prof Dr Zahid Karim Khan attended the meeting.
